California Raisins and Apple Puff Pastries Turnover

Delicious desserts don’t always require time and finess, these delicious apple and California raisin turnovers are super easy to make and take about 20 minutes from start to finish.

Preheat the oven to 220c. Thinly slice the apple with a mandolin or slice thinly with a knife.

Each pastry requires 1 tbsp of golden syrup. Pour 4 portions of syrup on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle over naturally sweet California Raisins and sprinkle over cinnamon.

Place the apple slices and top with an individual piece of puff pastry. Drizzle over more syrup on top and sprinkle over more cinnamon.

Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until golden.

Flip over, dust with icing sugar and serve as they are, or top with delicious almond and raisin ice cream (find the recipe in my reels). Enjoy!

  • 1 packet puff pastry

  • 1 apple

  • 4 tbsp golden syrup

  • handful of naturally sweet California Raisins

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
